Scott Blankenfeld

Scott Blankenfeld graduated from the School of Communication at California State University, Chico with a Bachelors degree in Commercial Recreation. During the past 15 years, Scott has served as a program director, instructor, web master, operations manager, and digital marketing strategist. After serving clients like Bank of America, California Canoe and Kayak Inc., and Vail Resorts Management Company Scott ventured out on his own and founded a whitewater rafting outfit on the American River in Northern California in 2009. Scott found himself diving head first into difficult market that forced him to be creative and adapt strategies that lead him to turn his first company over for a profit in less that 3 years. His work overlaps nearly every aspect of a commercial recreation business, including marketing & sales, new business development, software production, administration, operations, staff management, and video/photo content creation. As a pivotal member of our strategies & operations department, Scott oversees complex brand identity campaigns, website builds, and SEO maintenance systems (just for fun!) It may seem like he lives in the office, but more often than not he’s trying to get outside and stay outside!
