Armando Gonzales

After obtaining his bachelor’s degree from CSU-Sacramento for film/tv/cinema Armando hit the ground running by launching his career in broadcast television, and since then his work has appeared on Travel Channel, HGTV, and DIY Network, including series such as “Windy City Flip”, “Yard Crashers”, “Sutter Health Life Stages”, “Blog Cabin”, “Yardcore”, “Rustic Reno”, “House Crashers”, “50/50”,and several top rated episodic non-scripted television series. A musician of 25 years, his style and rhythm have been honed recording for Northern California artists such as Ghostplay and Campfire Crooners, and touring nationally with the band One-Eyed Doll as a lighting tech, and performing on drums. One of the first traits we look for in a good editor is a strong background in music & sound, and Armando fits the profile to a T. Whether its sound mixing, graphics, animations or tv/web based episodic edits, he brings his creative musical talents, his knack for finding detailed, rich, story driven content, and a work ethic that is uncompromising. If you can get him out of the edit bay, you’ll likely find him on “dropping a knee” on his Ducati super bike, working on new beats in the sound studio or dreaming about starting to paraglide with the rest of the GBM “adrenaline junkies”.
